I began my McDonald's career at the St Kilda restaurant as Casual Crew when I was 17(12/9/1977) Once I left school I was offered a full-time position, responsible for restaurant maintenance.
After working in this position for approximately two years,I was promoted to Trainee Manager in November 1979
From then until my promotion to Area Supervisor in September 1984,I worked at several restaruants including Niddrie, South Oskleigh, Moorwell, Collingwood, Swanston Street and St.Kilds
In June 1985 I was promoted to Field Service Consultant based in Adelaide supervising the restaurants in the South Australian market.
I was promoted to Field Service Manager-Victoria in August 1987 and promoted further to Director of Operations - VIC/SA/WA/TAS in SEPTEMBER 1989
April 1991, I was promoted to Regional Manager Queensland,working out of the Brisbane Office.
April 1993,I was appointed to the position of Vise President/Regional Manager.My region now incorporates Queensland,Northern Territory and Pasific Islands.
January 1999, I was appointed to the position of Senior Vise Presedent/Regional Manager QLD/NT
October 1999 appointed to the position of Managing Director of McDonald's Restaurant S.A (McDonald's Turkey)
