BS in Electrical Engineering from Middle East Technical University of ANKARA in 1974. Work experience
1. TEKNIM Co. Ltd. between 1974 and 1987 as;
a) Process Control Engineer between 1974 and 1976 with principle duties of designing and installation of process control systems, mainly on temperature, pressure and flow measurement and control of various industrial furnaces.
b) Process Control Division Manager between 1976 and 1982 with management responsibility of sales, contract negotiations and group of around 15 people, who were sales, design and manufacturing engineers and technicians in charge of design, manufacture and installation of process control systems. Completed various projects with Turkish Cement Factories, Ceramic and Refractory Materials Factories and Iron & Steel Works. Close cooperation with various worldwide process-control and measurement companies like; Sybron/Taylor, Allen Bradley, Foster Cambrigde, Schlumberger, Ercole Marelli, etc.
c) Hewlett Packard Test and Measurement Group Manager between 1982 and 1987, with principle duties of developing sales in Aselsan, Teletas, Netas and PTT and setting-up a repair center for Hewlett Packard products.
2. SANIVA A. S. between 1987 and 1989 as Test and Measurement Sales Manager in Hewlett Packard Department both in Ankara and in Istanbul.
3. HEWLETT PACKARD A. S. from 1989 until 31 October 1999 as Test and Measurement Manager and Ankara Branch Manager.
Actively involved in setting up this organization in Turkey as a foreign capital investment and opening the Branch in Ankara. Total sales figures in Test and Measurement grew more than 150% in 6 years while always having the major market share, which is more than 50%. Mainly addressing to Defense and Telecommunication Sectors in the market.
Also served as Test and Measurement Sales Manager in Czech Republic between 01 November 1998 and 31October 1999.
4. AGILENT TECHNOLOGIES Co. Ltd. as a result of corporate decision to spin-off the measurement business from computer business in Hewlett Packard, an independent company has been created as of 01 November 1999 and became Country General Manager of this newly established company in Turkey.
